Sal Amadeo - Founder & Director

Sal is a licensed Acupuncturist and massage therapist. He is also a certified oriental medical doctor and hypnotherapist. He has been practicing in New Haven since 1989.
Mr. Amadeo has lectured at Yale-New Haven and Griffin Hospitals on the benefits of holistic therapies for cardiac patients. He has also been a guest speaker at Yale University, Quinnipiac College, and SCSU, as well as on radio and television. Mr. Amadeo gives workshops on his techniques to colleagues and medical personnel and his articles have been published in several publications.
Mr. Amadeo is a Master Body Worker who has developed a very specialized multidisciplinary approach to wellness combining Eastern with Western philosophies. He has studied and is certified in the Eastern traditions of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine as well as the modern Western techniques of Myofacial Therapy, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Visceral Manipulation. He is well versed in the use of herbal medicines. This full spectrum of alternatives provides Amadeus Center clients with an exceptional level of holistic care. Moreover, this care is individualized to each persons needs to relieve pain and to restore health and balance. He is available for outcalls to residences, hospitals, nursing homes, places of business and special events.

Remy Amadeo, LMT & Founder

Remy Amadeo is a CT licensed massage therapist. Remy is the designer for The Amadeus Center and the Guest House, creating an environment that is beautiful, soothing, and relaxing. Additions to the New Haven Center include: a Steam Shower Sauna that may be enjoyed by Amadeus Center clients before or after a massage or holistic therapy session, and a 4-season detached outdoor gazebo which can accommodate 2 clients for couples massage. Judith O'Connor - Center Administrator

Judith is a Certified Life Coach and Clinical Hypnotherapist. She is also the Amadeus Center’s Administrator. She helps individuals and couples change behaviors, build satisfying relationships, and develop healthier lifestyles. Most clients begin to experience change in just a few sessions. She quickly determines root issues and maintains a clear focus on goals, providing practical suggestions as to how to achieve them. Specialty areas are working with relationship issues, depression and anxiety, phobias, smoking cessation, weight/eating disorders, and parenting issues. Her training and private practice began in California in l985. Judith is also a Non-Denominational Reverend and officiates weddings and baby blessings. Bella Powell, LMT - Spa Director

Bella is a licensed massage therapist having graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy (CCMT)CT in 2005. She loves working with people on many levels. She specializes in Deep Tissue, Sports and Medical Massage and incorporates her isolated stretching training with massage. Isolated stretching allows the therapist to stretch spots that cannot be touched by the human hand. She also has had extensive yoga training which ties in with the active isolated stretching and massage. Bella feels these different modalities compliment each other and help the client receive greater benefits from the massage and then bring it into their daily life.

Cathy Sansone

Cathy has studied and is certified in Reiki, Acupuncture & Ayurvedic medicine. She is a CT State licensed Electrologist and member of the American Electrology Association. She has been practicing Electrolysis in the New Haven area since 1994, founding New Haven Electrolysis. Having worked as a make-up artist in the cosmetic industry, she now offers a natural holistic approach to facials & skincare and offers make-up lessons and application for special events & weddings.
